PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DENGAN METODE GROUP INVESTIGATION

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena tingkat berpikir kritis mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Unsil masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui metode pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok atau Group Investigation. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi adalah semua mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah ekonomi publik. Sampel diambil oleh dua kelas dengan teknik purposive sampling atau dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test untuk menentukan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal-soal tes berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji dua perbedaan rata-rata. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, pretest dan posttest bahwa kelas eksperimen dinyatakan memiliki perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis.
