PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN PENGETAHUAN DALAM KELAS: THE BUKOWITZ AND WILLIAMS KM CYCLE DALAM METODE PEMBELAJARAN PEER-ASSISTED LEARNING (PAL)

Abstract

Penerapan manajemen pengetahuan memiliki beberapa model yang umum digunakan, salah satunya adalah the Bukowitz and Williams KM cycle yang diperkenalkan pada tahun 2000. Tujuh tahap dalam model Bukowitz and Williams KM Cycle, yakni Get, Use, Learn, Contribute, Assess, Build/Sustain, dan Divest, bukan hanya dapat diterapkan dalam sebuah organisasi saja, melainkan juga dapat diterapkan dalam lingkup yang lebih kecil seperti proses pembelajaran dalam kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) agar pembelajaran berjalan dengan lebih efektif dan terencana. Ketujuh tahap dalam model Bukowitz and Williams KM Cycle yang diadopsi ke dalam metode PAL dapat dirangkum menjadi empat proses besar, yaitu (1) proses pengumpulan dan pengolahan data serta informasi mengenai siswa; (2) proses pengaturan ‘human capital’, yaitu pengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan informasi yang telah diolah, (3) proses berbagi pengetahuan dalam kelompok yang dilakukan antar siswa; dan (4) proses evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru.
